Had work this morning. It was boring, but hey, you gotta get paid, right? On a brighter (and happier) note, I got a couple rolls of film developed... in one of those rolls was the set of pictures I took on 9/11/02. Ok, so here's the preface to the pictures:
On 9-11-01, the "day of infamy", a group of locals decided to go out onto an overpass to show their "patriotism" by displaying flags, candles, and banners embazened with the words "9/11: We Will NEVER Forget" on them. Everyone thought it was really cool, and the organizers appeared on the news that night. Well, this display of "patriotism" lasted all day and all night... at least one person was on that overpass every day that we flew our flags at half mast.
Well, a year later, I knew they were going to do it again and as I drove down the hiway, I saw them with their candles, at 8 o'clock at night, holding vigil over screaming traffic. I figured they would be there half an hour later, when I had finished my errands, but when I returned, they were no more! So, making the best of a bad situation, I decided to forego any feelings of failure and take some pictures anyway. I got out my tripod and started taking long-exposure pictures of the traffic below me. Following are the fruits of my labor.

Enjoy!
